Utah hospitals are warning doctors to watch out for a marijuana-laced candy coming from Colorado that could be making many people ill. Representatives from Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City said the warning was prompted after reports of higher numbers of pot-related hospitalizations among Colorado children. There are candy-like products such as lollipops, Swedish fish and other chocolates laced with the drug. Cases of Colorado children ingesting these candies have already been reported.
The Utah Poison Control Center said there have yet to be any such reports in the state yet. But, state officials said some Utah residents have been caught buying marijuana in Colorado, where it's legal, and bringing it across the state border.
