Las Vegas Loses Hockey

Las Vegas is losing its hockey team. Officials with the Las Vegas Wranglers minor league team announced Tuesday they will skip the upcoming 2014-2015 season because they have nowhere to play. The team lost their lease with the Orleans arena back in January. For a time it seemed they had found a new home at the Plaza downtown. But, that plan fell through because of cost.

Current Wranglers players are free agents and can play with other teams in the upcoming season. Average Wrangler game attendance is about 4600.
