Should Prostitution Be Legal?

It's not exactly a secret that prostitution is rife in Clark County. Mobile billboards roll up and down the Strip advertising "girls to your room" and the phone book has pages and pages of so-called "entertainers," who will also perform in your hotel room. But it's illegal. Does that designation matter if police tolerate the practice? Or should we think of rural Nevada and the recent experience of Rhode Island, which did legalize prostitution for some years.
