The Nevada Institute for Children's Research and Policy reports that half of the child abuse or neglect homicides were perpetrated by the mother's boyfriend. This is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Advocates protecting children are encouraging single mothers to avoid abusive boyfriends. We'll talk about the campaign efforts, how people can avoid abusive partners, and how it ultimately affects children.
