After six decades near downtown, White Cross Drugs will be closing. The store was the first 24-hour drugstore in Las Vegas but it has been bested by the chain stores - Walgreens and CVS. So what finally did in the landmark business? And who will fill the prescriptions? Has Las Vegas just become to hard for independent businesses?
