Race to the Top

Nevada is out of the running for the second round of federal Race to the Top education grants aimed at advancing school reform across the country. Despite efforts by Governor Gibbon's 29 member education task force Nevada's schools will lose out on $160 million in federal money. So what went wrong?

We talk with Las Vegas Sun Education Reporter, Emily Richmond about why Nevada lost out on this round of Race to the Top cash.
