Regular readers of the Las Vegas Review-Journal will be aware that the shrinking front page has been crowded with the continuing series of war stories. They all celebrate the bravery of American troops under fire. But this lengthy series is the brainchild of Warren Stephens, the conservative Little Rock banker who heads the Review-Journal's parent company, Stephens, Inc. Veteran Little Rock journalist Max Brantley talks about the back story to this series.
