The Food and Drug Administration is reopening an investigation into a Listeria outbreak in Nevada that it says began last year.

The FDA announced a recall of over 85 ready-to-eat foods over the weekend. That includes sandwiches, pasta dishes, and snacks, following a Listeria outbreak that has hospitalized two Nevadans.

This investigation was paused due to a lack of information about the outbreak’s source, but was renewed last month following Listeria detection during a routine test of Fresh & Ready Foods products.

The agency says the contaminated ready-to-eat foods were sold in Arizona, California, Washington, and Nevada.

Nevadans are advised to check the FDA’s recall list on its website, and immediately dispose of any food items matching the affected best-by dates and descriptions.
