Nellis Air Force Base To Begin 11 Days Of Training Exercises

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas are area residents will have to put up with noise from training exercises at Nellis Air Force Base.

Officials at the base say Red Flag 21-2 is scheduled to start Monday and run through March 19. The training involves 80 aircraft departing out of Nellis twice a day for exercises that last up to five hours.

Some will take place at night as well. Red Flag takes place primarily on the Nevada Test and Training Range north of the city.
