Authorities: 2 Fatally Shot In Incidents Linked To Road Rage

Authorities in southern Nevada say two men are dead following Thursday night shootings related to road rage.

The Nevada Highway Patrol said troopers fatally shot an armed man who reportedly had been chasing another driver. Las Vegas police said one driver shot another who reportedly pointed a gun at him at a red light after one cut the other off. Police said that shooting appeared to be self-defense.

The Highway Patrol said troopers shot the other man at the Highway Patrol station in Jeans where he stopped along with a vehicle he reportedly had been chasing.

According to the Highway Patrol, the troopers opened fire after the man got out of his truck and brandished a weapon.
