Reno's police chief and a Vietnam combat veteran from Elko will serve as the official guests of Nevada's U.S. senators Tuesday at President Donald Trump's State of the Union address.
Sen. Jacky's Rosen invited Gil Hernandez, a U.S. Marine with a Purple Heart who was wounded three times in Vietnam. He's worked the last four decades on behalf of veterans and is now the national legislative vice-chairman of the VFW.
