Clark County Residents Self-Quarantine After Returning From Mainland China

Some Clark County residents who recently returned from mainland China are being monitored for the new coronavirus.

The Southern Nevada Health District says individuals did not show symptoms during medical screenings and were allowed to return home to be monitored under a 14-day self-quarantine, following guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the Southern Nevada Public Health Laboratory has received a CDC-developed kit so it can test for the virus in-house.
