Electric-car manufacturer Tesla has announced a multi-million-dollar investment in Nevada’s education.
Clark and Washoe county school districts, along with six science-focused nonprofits are set to receive $37.5 million over the next five years.
The first round of funding announced Thursday will include a $1.5 million expenditure designed to bring new technology skills to students.
