Excessive Heat Warning Issued For Next Week

The National Weather Service has issued an Excessive Heat Warning for next week. 

It will take effect next Tuesday morning and last until Thursday evening. 

The Weather Service expects midweek high temperatures of up to 115 in the Las Vegas Valley, near 120 in Northeast Clark County, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and the lower Colorado River Valley.

Outside of the Las Vegas Valley, it is expected to be 112 in Pahrump, Barstow, and Morongo Basin, and 106 in Kingman and Colorado City, and 126 in Death Valley National Park.
