The 2018 Legislative session in Utah began Monday morning in the State Capitol building in Salt Lake City.
The 104 part-time lawmakers have until midnight March 8 to pass a balanced budget and work out legislative priorities.
Tax reform is expected to be one of the biggest policy debates, as well as transportation issues and medical marijuana.
