After grinding the rooftop solar industry to a stop last year, the Nevada Public Utilities Commission approved an order today that might help the industry.
It comes after the Legislature’s passage of Assembly Bill 405, which seeks to establish net metering policies more favorable to rooftop solar.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports officials with the solar industry association said the PUC’s decision was indeed the intent of 405, and they were pleased the ruling recognized the attempt to revive the industry.
