Miami Dolphins Step In To Help Stranded Miami High School Football Team

A Miami high school team stranded in Las Vegas by Hurricane Irma finally gets to go home thanks to the Miami Dolphins.

The high schoolers were stranded in the valley after defeating local Bishop Gorman in a game last Friday night.

After hearing of the team’s dilemma, Dolphins players stepped in to pay for lodging and transportation for the 69 Miami Central players and coaches.

The Rockets did their best to pass time with practicing routines while staying at the SpringHill Suites near the Las Vegas Convention Center.

All of the Central high players are now expected to make it home by Friday.

The Miami Dolphins had their season opener NFL game postponed until November as Irma bore down on Florida over the weekend.
