Arbitrator Rules CCSD Must Give Millions In Back Pay To School Administrators

The Clark County School District is on the hook for $19.5 million in back pay for school administrators and principals.

The Nevada Independent reports an arbitrator said the district did not provide adequate evidence that it couldn’t pay the increased wages requested by the union representing the school staff.

Opponents of the ruling say the district’s new funding model will put any hardships related to this payout on to individual schools.
