LAS VEGAS (AP) — Authorities say one man is dead after he was struck by a public transit bus in Las Vegas.

The victim of the Tuesday crash has not yet been identified.

Police say the man, in his 50s, had been walking south on a northbound city street when a bus heading north struck the man.

The driver of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada bus remained at the scene. Police say the driver will not be charged or cited.

The man's death marked the 43th traffic fatality investigated by Las Vegas police this year.
