MGM Resorts To Change Monte Carlo's Name

MGM Resorts International is rebranding its Monte Carlo resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

The company announced Friday that it will renovate the property to create two hotels.

The Strip's largest casino operator said it will partner with the New York-based Sydell Group on the $450 million renovation.

The Park MGM hotel will have 2,700 rooms and incorporate some of the Monte Carlo's European design influences.

The other hotel will be known as The NoMad Las Vegas.

The 292-room hotel builds on the Sydell Group's flagship property in New York by the same name.
