Those are some loud clothes

Chicago artist Nick Cave's brash and exotic "Soundsuits" grew out of decidedly humble beginnings: Raised with six brothers by a single mother, he had to find a way to give those inevitable hand-me-downs some personal flair. As Cave grew up, so did his methods. Today, the artist is renowned for his "Soundsuits." Imagine kaleidoscopically loud instrumental jumpsuits intercepted from another planet. Better yet, you can see one of his pieces currently on display at the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art.

Cave discusses his work 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Bellagio Ballroom Gauguin 1 room. Tickets: $10 for members, $15 for non-members; $23 for non-members for the lecture + gallery viewing. Information: 693-7818.
