Music from the Hearts of Space
Airs: Sunday 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
HEARTS of SPACE offers slow music for fast times in an uninterrupted hour of ambient, space, and contemplative music from around the world and across the centuries.
And, it has struck a chord with listeners as one of the longest-running and most popular music series on public radio. Produced and hosted by Stephen Hill and with Associate Producer Steve Davis, it launched nationally in January 1983 after ten years as a Bay Area late night program on KPFA-FM in Berkeley. It has now run on over 400 stations.
Our two hour HOS session begins with the week's new program and then repeats the program from the previous week.
