There’s never a shortage of things to see, hear, and do in Nevada. Here are some highlighted cultural events for the week starting August 5.
August 6-16
Welcome to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, "The Murder at Haversham Manor," where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show — an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences! Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award–winning comedy is a global phenomenon.

A Nevada State Parks Entrance Pass is required to gain access to and park at the venue. The $10/per vehicle/per day fee (applies to ALL vehicles, in-state AND out-of state, when purchased in advance) is required by Nevada law and may be used to access Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park after 5 p.m. on the date listed on the Pass only. For Entrance Passes purchased on-site on the day of a scheduled event, the following fee structure applies: $10/per vehicle/per day, in-state license plate; $15/per vehicle/per day, out-of-state license plate. As this is an Entrance Pass as opposed to a Parking Pass, please note that the fee applies to ridesharing services (Uber, Lyft, etc.) and drop-offs within the park. Please note that the park closes at 8:00 p.m. Patrons may not be able to access the park after that time.
