New year means new City of Las Vegas projects

A few weeks ago, Mayor Carolyn Goodman talked about the coming year with all the excitement of a teenager.

The city has a lot planned for 2023: A growing medical district; a new CSN campus; downtown’s ongoing rebirth and plans for a city civic plaza. And as all those things are considered, the City Council will make the decisions on how well those plans are integrated into existing neighborhoods and business areas.

The newest Councilmember, Nancy Brune, also has ambitious plans for the ever-growing Northwest part of the city.
