President Whitfield addressing the university.

In a few years, the UNLV campus could look a lot different than it does now. There’s a new campus master plan out there. The university is also moving up in the ranks of research institutions; they’ve seen a 60 percent increase in research funding since being named a top tier institution in 2018.

Also in development: a new digital UNLV President Keith Whitfield, designed to guide students virtually. UNLV is one of the first universities in the country using the technology in this way.

The real Keith Whitfield recently gave his State of UNLV address. He joined State of Nevada to share what he's most looking forward to in the university's future.
