Adele, one of the latest performers to cancel Las Vegas residency due to COVID-19.

It’s the topic that won’t die: Omicron.

Not only is the latest COVID surge affecting hospitals and schools, but it’s doing a number on the entertainment industry in Las Vegas.

I guess if you want to find a bright side: the rash of infections might be the reason Las Vegas ends up hosting the Grammy Awards in a few months.

And in a few minutes we’ll be talking about Adele coming to Las Vegas. We recorded this earlier in the week when her show was to begin this weekend. As of Thursday night, however, her residency cancelled, in part due to the COVID outbreak.
