North Las Vegas One Of Many Cities Facing Teacher Shortages

Staffing shortages in the Mountain West are hitting restaurants, hospitals and now… schools. Districts across the region are struggling to find substitutes and para-educators. Principals are even filling in as custodians and cafeteria workers.

The Mountain West News Bureau’s Nate Hegyi visited a North Las Vegas school and reports on what he saw.
