Incoming Councilman Cedric Crear Focuses On Jobs

Nevada System of Higher Education

The City of Las Vegas held a special election March 27 to replace Ricki Barlow.

The former councilman resigned in January and pleaded guilty in February to a felony charge of misusing campaign funds.

This month, Cedric Crear will take office.

He’s a former regent with the Nevada System of Higher Education, and he was also a planning commissioner with the City of Las Vegas.
