Science and activism aren’t necessarily two words we think of together.
Science is about distance from emotion, about facts and provable phenomena. Activism is often empowered by a raw, emotional driving force.
But last year, enough scientists and science lovers were alarmed by the attacks on facts that they came out and marched.
The second annual March for Science is tomorrow, April 14. And, yes, science supporters in Vegas will be out in full force downtown.
