For the last few years, the Nevada Division of Tourism has placed an emphasis on encouraging Nevada urbanites to visit our states rural attractions.

Last week, a proposed twist to the agency’s marketing campaigns would give reasons not to visit certain tourist sites. 

Claudia Vecchio is the director of the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs about the agency's efforts to encourage Nevadans to visit Nevada.
