'Foxfinder' Posits Paranoia Over Government Surveillance

Something is happening in a picturesque English countryside – on a family farm recently hit by tragedy. The government has sent a specially trained “Foxfinder” to get to the bottom of the problem.

In Dawn King’s critically acclaimed play, foxes are more like metaphors than wild animals. The play itself hearkens back Franz Kafka and Arthur Miller, but it also tackles issues of paranoia and distrust in an age of government surveillance.

Kate St-Pierre is the assistant director of “Foxfinder,” which will be produced by A Public Fit Thursday, Nov. 13 through Nov. 23.
