Nevada republicans are salivating at the chance to become the majority party in the state Senate this year.
Justin Jones, an attorney, holds one of the few seats Republicans think they can take to overcome the Democrat’s 11-10 majority. Republican candidate Becky Harris is vying for Jones’ Senate seat.
It’s hard to beat an incumbent, so challengers nationwide typically resort to negative campaigns. It’s no different in Nevada.
