The Debt Collector is Calling: Nevadans Struggle With Unpaid Bills

Almost half of Nevadans have some debt that has been sent to collections, according to a recent study by the Urban Institute. The Silver State leads the nation when it comes to the percentage of the population with unpaid debt. So what can you do if your debt is sent to a collection agency? And what are your rights as a consumer?
