Finding Housing For Homeless Families

The federal government has set a goal to end family homelessness by 2020, but every day in Las Vegas, homeless families are turned away from shelters that lack space to accommodate their needs.

The Clark County School District estimates that as many as 9,000 students don't have a stable place to live. Unlike single adults, homeless families can often be hidden from view, doubled up in homes with family and friends, or living in cars and weekly motels.

So how can leaders in Las Vegas end homelessness among families, when homelessness is general has been increasing?
