Scorpions Invade Las Vegas

They have cleverly stowed away in Arizona palm trees and are thriving in the dry desert climate of Las Vegas.

Perhaps one is hiding in a broom closet or scurrying across a patio near you.

The bark scorpion is becoming a Las Vegas pest problem to rival cockroaches and ants. Except the scorpion's sting can send its victim to the emergency room.
