IKEA Comes To Las Vegas

At last, furniture lovers, design mavens and do-it-themselfers can rest easy. IKEA - the Swedish furniture chain - announced Monday that it was planning to open a new store in Las Vegas. The planned 351,000 square foot store will be built on 26 acres at the 215 and Durango Drive.

Sadly, the store won't open until 2016. But if you cannot wait, we're talking to an author who has spent lots of time in the store near her home in upstate New York, contemplating all the various furnishings available for every room in your home. She tells us what she found and why she decided to write about it in 50 different genres.
