The Legacy Of Leonard Bernstein

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the conductor of the New York Philharmonic reinvigorated the orchestra’s Young People’s Concerts. That conductor was Leonard Bernstein.

And in the Bernstein family, bringing music to young students has become something of a tradition.  Bernstein’s daughter Jamie recently came to Las Vegas to promote the “Violins for Kids” program.
