People from across the globe can protect their assets from lawsuits and bankruptcy and divorce settlements with asset protection trusts. Any money or asset put into the trust, cannot be used to pay court judgments. Supporters say the trusts boost business in the state but critics say it only makes Nevada look like a haven for fraud and theft. So who's right? And have these trusts outlived their usefulness?
