The Affordable Care Act mandates health insurance that can be purchased through online exchanges. It also provides funding for non-profit insurance companies to start up and increase competition with traditional health insurance companies. Nevada has its own, the Nevada Health Co-op. So what is it for? How is it different from traditional insurance companies? And how has it been affected by the shambolic beginnings to the online exchanges?
