It all started with a suggestion. The publisher of a Spanish-language newspaper urged Miguel Curiel to teach guitar to struggling Southern Nevadans. So Curiel started a free weekly class for the unemployed. Then he also lost his job. But he kept holding the class, and joins us to talk about how music has helped him and his students.
