Death Penalty: Should We Keep It In Nevada?

When state officials  voted to close Nevada State Prison in Carson City, they lost the state's one and only execution chamber. Now we have more than 80 people on death row and nowhere to carry out the sentence. The governor wants $700,000 to build a new execution chamber. State Sen. Tick Segerblom opposes it, and wants the state to study the costs associated with carrying out the death penalty. We'll talk to him, and to Assemblyman John Hambrick, who supports the governor's budget request, about the death penalty in Nevada.
