A bipartisan group of Senators and the President laid out plans for comprehensive immigration reformthis week. Although lawmakers on both sides of the aisle agree some sort of immigration package is needed, there will still be some obstacles in Congress before any bill gets passed. Tougher border security, penalties for employers who hire undocumented workers and a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants are all part of the initial plans. We'll discuss the road to comprehensive immigration reform and how it could affect real people.
