Evil Dead the Musical

The 1981 movie Evil Dead, starring Bruce Campbell, was a campy low budget horror flick. And, in the tradition of such films, it built up a cult following. Producer Sirc Michaels hopes that will carry over to his theatrical production that pays homage to the 31-year-old movie. Evil Dead the Musical had a soft opening at the V-Theater at Planet Hollywood. It's expected to open later in July. It's a show that includes a splash zone where audience members are doused in fake "blood." Will tourists want to see it? Can the show adapt to a bigger stage than the Onyx?
