Apple Exploring Big Investment in Reno

Tech giant Apple could soon reach a deal to build a data center and purchasing facility in Northern Nevada. The Reno Gazette Journal reports Apple plans to build a data center in Sparks and a purchasing facility in downtown Reno. According to the Reno Gazette Journal, the Washoe County Commission, Reno City Council and state are currently considering $89 million in tax abatements over the next decade for Apple.
