Most people hear music, but in Tim Bavington's case, he sees it. The artist turned Aaron Copland's "Fanfare for the Common Man" into a row of multi-colored steel pipes for the Smith Center. He's done the same thing with paintings in the past - coordinating the 12-tone music scale with his 12-color array for songs by The Rolling Stones.
