The History of Lake Tahoe

Anyone who's seen Lake Tahoe has been stunned by its beauty. For the Washoe Indians it was a magical place and when the first Euro-Americans saw it, they too were stunned. But in recent years, Nevada and California have tried to protect its delicate ecosystem, not always with the approval of locals who try to make a living on and around the lake.
