A Conversation on Transgender Issues

The state assembly approved a bill earlier this week that would prohibit discrimination based on gender identity and expression.  That's meant to protect people based on race, religion, and sexual orientation.  But transgender people say they feel left out of those categories, and often face job discrimination.  Are transgenders getting the political protections they need?  What issues does a transgender man or woman face that a gay or lesbian person does not?  And what's it like growing up as a transgender person in Las Vegas?  Transgender people share their stories.
