The Legislature Debates School and State Budget

In a five hour hearing on Tuesday night Democrats and Republicans in the legislature met to discuss budget cuts to education proposed by Gov. Brian Sandoval. After heated exchanges legislators were split down party lines over what the impact of budget cuts would be and how the state should take on its massive budget whole. Republicans aligned themselves with the governor's plan saying they will back him 100 percent while Democrats argued for compromise. Legislators were scheduled to have a similar meeting Wednesday. Jon Ralston, host of Face to Face on KSNV joins us to discuss how this first round of debate will shape budget talks moving forward.
