Icahn's Fountainbleau Bid

We hear about the latest developments with the Fountainbleau and Carl Icahn's bid to buy that property at bottom of the barrel prices. Many of the gleaming strip properties were once old hotels bought for a song. Icahn could purchase the brand new Fontainbleau for pennies on the dollar, but how could he possibly extract value from it?
