Patient Safety

The Nevada legislature made important gains in patient safety in the 2009 session in response to the Hepatitis C outbreak caused by lax infection control standards at a local colonoscopy clinic. Las Vegas Sun reporter Marshall Allen will discuss the winners and losers with Larry Matheis, executive director of the Nevada State Medical Association and Bobbette Bond, executive director of the Nevada Healthcare Policy Group.
